Natalia's breakdown of combining ruler work with free-motion quilting on this classic block really opened my eyes—the section on adding feathers gave me the confidence to try it myself. Finished my first Drunkard's Path quilt top last night with a whole new look.

I was a little intimidated by this block until Natalia's ruler work and feather tutorials made the process surprisingly straightforward. She really does show you how to give a traditional pattern a fresh, modern look.

The ruler work section finally clicked for me, and now I’m much more confident mixing FMQ with feathers on a traditional block. I wish there were a few more close-up camera angles during the demonstrations, but the content itself is solid.
