How to Use the Mark & Go Bundle for Quilting

Quick answer

The Piece N Quilt Mark & Go Bundle combines a pop socket ruler grip, a Mark-B-Gone marking pen, and a misting spray bottle to help you mark and grip fabric accurately. Follow these steps to use it efficiently.

Step-by-step guide

1. Attach the pop socket to your ruler: Peel the adhesive backing and press the pop socket onto the back of your ruler. Wait a few seconds for a secure bond. The pop socket gives you a comfortable grip, reducing strain during long cutting or marking sessions. Do not reposition once attached—the adhesive loses strength.
2. Mark your fabric with the Mark-B-Gone pen: Shake the pen gently, then draw your quilting lines directly on the fabric. The ink appears light purple and is designed to vanish with water. Use light pressure to avoid oversaturating the fabric. Test on a scrap first—some fabrics may hold the mark longer.
3. Use the misting spray bottle to remove marks: Fill the bottle with water, set the nozzle to a fine mist, and spray lightly over the marked areas. The ink will disappear within a few minutes. Blot gently with a cloth if needed. Do not soak the fabric—excess water may distort the quilt block.
